Bookings are managed through Javawolf. Please ensure your dog is registered on the Javawolf website with a valid BHI number. If you donât yet have one, you can obtain a BH number from the Barn Hunt Association before registering.

Join us for a spooktacular day of Hoopers with a twist! Expect thrilling runs, spooky sweet hunts, and plenty of eerie excitement. Human and dog costumes are warmly encouraged (just not on the dogs while theyâre competing!). And donât worryâthanks to the clocks going back the night before, youâll get an extra hour in bed to prepare for all the ghoulish giggles.

Javawolf 'Rodeo' Hoopers - September November 2025 Show with 'The big team event'
Yeehaw! Join us on Sunday 28th September for a rootinâ-tootinâ day of fast turns, fancy footwork, and tail-wagginâ fun at our Rodeo-themed Hoopers Show. No horses hereâjust our four-legged cowpokes showing off their hoopinâ skills in true Wild West style. Expect plenty of laughs, great runs, and maybe a few cowboy hats (on humans only, we promise). Giddy-up and get entered!
There will be a rodeo themed fun pay-on-the-day class for you to enjoy if you wish, details to follow!
The show will run in the standard format, but behind the scenes you will be part of a secret team with extra prizes up for grabs!
Prizes for your class runs as normal, with Trophies to 3rd and Rosettes to 3rd or 15% of entry.
Then a second chance to win with special prizes for the best combined team performance across Hoopers, Barrels, and All Sorts.
You do not need to do anything other than enter your dogs as normal.
The 'computer' will put you in a team of four behind the scenes and the best group will win. You won't know until the presentation who was in your team and how you did.
The show is outdoors with secure rings so yellow dogs are welcome. An enclosed exercise area will be available along with refreshments for purchase.

BHI Barn Hunt Trial @ Javawolf with Jo-Ann Essex
We will run two trials, one in the morning starting at 09:00 - 12:00, and then the second from 13:00 - 16:00, we will run through the classes in order in each session.
To enter you must have a BH number for your dog, and need to enter this into the 'View/Edit Dogs' and select edit on the dog you want to add the number too. Visit Barnhunt to get a number and for more information.
You will need to enter each class in each trial separately you can enter both morning and afternoon if you want to. Please read the description of the trial before entering and make sure you choose the correct session for either AM or PM.
The class will be indoors in a secure area so yellow dogs are welcome, all dogs are working alone. An enclosed exercise area will be available along with refreshments.

Barn Hunt Workshop @ Javawolf with Jo-Ann Essex
Sunday 24th August 2025
A chance to learn, improve and practice Barn Hunt or continue to get experience. We will aim to run 3 sessions on the day, Beginners (Anyone new to the sport), Improvers (People and dogs who have had some practice but want to improve some of the more advanced skills), and Advanced (For those who want to practice and enhance some of the more challenging skills).
The first session will start no earlier than 09:30 and the second session will start at 12:00, and the final session will be at 15:00, each session will be 2 hours long. There will be a maximum of 8 dogs in each session so you will all get plenty of time.

Javawolf August 'Summerween Spooktacular'
16th & 17th August 2025
Step into the shadows of midsummer with Javawolfâs spookiest spectacle yet! Expect sun-drenched chills, offbeat thrills, and ghoulish giggles as the pack conjures a mashup of spooky vibes. Costumes are encouraged, surprises are guaranteedâand remember: itâs never too hot for a howl.
On the Saturday we will run the normal format, Hooper, Barrels, and All Sorts.
On Sunday something different this time, you get two chances to run each course, one in the morning and then one in the afternoon best time goes forward to the results. Get it wrong in the morning? Have another chance to get it right in the afternoon.
Perfect for starters who would not normally go for bonus points, you can try the course and then try and get those points in the second run. You can walk the course after the first run if you want too.
Don't worry about too many runs in one day, there will be a lunch break between the two and plenty of space to relax and also walk your dogs.

Javawolf July 'Luau' show.
This is a two day show on Sat 26h & Sun 27th July. Trophies will be award to 3rd in all classes.
Saturday 26th July
The show will run like our normal show with a Hoopers, All Sorts, Barrels rings and time slots. ÂŁ15 per dog.
Sunday 27th July
This one will be a bit different, in the AM (09:30 - 12:00) session we will have Hoopers, All Sorts and Barrels and then in the PM (13:00 - 15:30) session after lunch we will reverse the courses giving you another chance to win. Prizes will be awarded for both the AM and PM sessions separately. You can enter just the AM or PM session for ÂŁ15 or both sessions for ÂŁ25.
Class details in the schedule, we will have 3 enclosed rings with Hoopers, Barrels, and Allsorts all on baseless hoops.
We will e-mail out the time slots for Saturday once entries have closed the week before the show.
