Javawolf 'Rodeo' Hoopers Show & The Big Team Event
Saddle up and join us on Sunday 27th September for our
Rodeo-themed Hoopers Show! We're bringing a touch of the
Wild West to a fun-filled day of flowing courses, fantastic teamwork,
and friendly competition.
Whether you're aiming for a personal best, celebrating your team's
achievements, or simply enjoying a day out with your dog, there's
something for everyone. Expect a welcoming atmosphere, great courses,
and plenty of rodeo-inspired fun throughout the day.
We're also planning a Barrel Race Fun Class, available on a
pay-on-the-day basis, giving competitors the chance to try something
a little different.
The show will run in our standard format, with classes and awards
operating as normal.
Trophies will be awarded to 3rd place, with Rosettes to 3rd place
or 15% of the class entry, whichever is greater.
Our outdoor venue features secure rings, making it suitable for yellow
dogs. An enclosed exercise area will be available, along with
refreshments to purchase throughout the day.
So grab your boots, dust off your hat, and join us for a fantastic day
of Hoopers!
Want to improve your course handling and gain confidence on Hoopers courses? Join us for a focused workshop designed to help handlers develop their course-reading and handling skills through practical discussion and hands-on experience.
During the session, three different courses will be set up. As a group, we will:
Walk each course together and discuss handling options.
Explore different approaches and decision-making on course.
Run the course and review what worked well.
Have the opportunity to make adjustments and run again where time allows.
This workshop is ideal for handlers looking to develop their understanding of course flow, improve handling choices, and build confidence when tackling new challenges.
