All of the winter shows (October to February) will count toward the league.
Every class in a qualifiing show will award points based on your result in that class, you do not need to do anything extra to acquire the points. If a class at a show does not award points this will be made clear.
Points will be awarded for the following:
- Place in class
- Points will be awarded to places in the top 4 of each qualifying class.
- 20 points for first will be awarded and, 15 for second, 10 for third, and 5 for fourth place.
- Bonus Points
- Bonus points will be carried across so 5 bonus points will give you 5 league points and, 3 will give 3 and 2 will give 2 league points.
- ClearPoints
- A clear round will award 1 point.
If two dogs are on the same number of league points then the following criteria will be used to separate them:
- The number of class wins.
- Total number of bonus points.
- Total number of clear rounds.
A run which resulted in elimination will not count towards the league.
There will be a league for each grade/size combination. If a dog changes grade during a league points it will collect further points in its new category but previous points will stay in the old category. Dogs can not change size category during the league, and only results from the original category will count.
The league will be complete once the final qualifying show has finished.
Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in each grade/size combination.
Example: A run where a dog won the class with a clear round and 2 bonus points would score 23pts, 20 for the win, 2 for the bonuses and 1 for the clear round. A run where the dog finished second with 5 faults and 3 bonus points, this would score 18pts, 15 for the second place and 3 for the bonus points.
